This is probably the latest I've arisen since lockdown began 67 weeks/469 days ago...

I've always been up before 8 though, so just made it and no more...

It had rained overnight...

Our last Old Hall Inn breakfast of the trip...

I went for scrambled eggs while Anne had no cooked breakfast...

Out to the car, bags loaded...

...and off, eschewing Skipton market and heading North up the West coast route via the M6, M74 and A702...

Around three and a half hours later, we stopped at Biggar, with just 30 miles to go...

Lunch at the Aroma cafe...

...was followed by a quick shifty round the shops which resulted in more discs being bought at unfeasibly low prices - some Chess Records, some Northern Soul, some Cat Stevens, Panufnik, Francaix and Rousel...

Home just after two and unpacking and resetting up took place, along with further ripping and listening re the eventual haul from the last two days, which joined last Saturday's splurge for inclusion in this week's podcast, plus a CD from behind the door by Haubstock-Ramati and some new downloads - over 60 tracks in all...

Done and dusted by around 10 pm...

Thereafter, enjoyed nephew Craig's footie show on the TV before hitting the sack...

Holiday over but Saturday tomorrow...

Highlight of the Day : Home...
