The view from the bus this morning...

Trials and tribulations via the band's Whatsapp group as drummer Johnny toiled with the concept of playing 12 fairly simple songs with minimal practise on an unfamiliar drum kit...

Guitarist Stu is right up for it though...

Keyboardist Paul has commented but not plumped for a decision one way or the other...

Bassist Keith is, as ever, missing in action - no doubt claiming his phone's not working...

At lunchtime out with chums for a Xmas lunch...

Marta, Raymondo, Wenders, Big Al, CK, Josh, GK, The G Man and Gina G...

This evening, to counter the effects, a walk through the dark...

..to the Hall of Dreams...

This week, I was, for the first time since my return in August, on the winning team...

At one point we were around seven goals ahead but ended up winning by the very last goal, perhaps around 18-17, after having fallen one behind a couple of times very late on...

I scored one, which, here, we will call "the winning goal", even though it was midway through the first half...

Of course I must also record for posterity the very much contested penalty for our opponents which hit the post then bounced off the back of our unfortunate goalie's leg and into the net for what was, technically only mind you, an own goal...

Said unfortunate goalie?

Yep, your correspondent...

Anne's new pilates class heralds in a new Wednesday night scenario of me walking to the footie and being picked up...

Which is fair enough...

Home for some listening - the solo set which was prepared for the proposed performance in October which had to be cancelled at the last minute...

Just in case the boys don't some around......

To bed around 11:30, reasonably happy...

Highlight of the Day : Food and football...
