Up and working on putting together versions of the backing tracks for the proposed CBQ live set to be run through later today...

Followed by Duck Eggs, tomato and coriander on toast...

No breakfast for the EP though - rather badly under the weather today due to a spout of through the night and continuing vomiting...

Hopefully just a bug...

Finalising and printing the song sheets for today...

Around 12:30, packed and out...

...and over to Roslin for a trio session...

With guitarist Stu...

...and drummer Johnny...

Here a trio of pics by photographer Stu - a man of many talents...

Some quick learning and run-throughs of, initially, the first 8 of the 12 songs...

A break for Moira's coffee and walnut cake...

...accompanied by young Chloe...

Then, back to work, learning the last four songs and, then, a final "live" no stops run through of "the set"...

Swift and satisfactory work by the boys...

In all, we recorded around 3 hours of the session, which, tonight, distilled down to two 40 minute versions of "the set"...

A 25 minute drive to Anne's mum's, Anne absent and, by text accounts, still not well...

A tasty tea of steak pie with Anne's mum, Jane, Bob and Kitty...

Agreed to adopt Kitty...

Back home to an ill Anne watching Strictly's results show...

She retired around 10:20 while I edited today's recordings, hitting the sack around 11:30, weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : The new CBQ...
