The day soundtracked by 5 minute tracks not listened to on devices for during the last 5 years...

Some good stuff indeed...

A visit to the cathedral at lunchtime for a recital by Michael Walton on violin and Jennifer Redmond on piano, playing pieces by Debussy, Prokofiev and Ravel...

Mr Walton...

Ms Redmond...

The piano...

Discussing the performance...

Very enjoyable...

Although I must admit to being awoken by the applause at the close of the ravel...

Idiot...

Tired idiot...

In the evening, a tasty tea - which did not outdo last night's made from scratch Macaroni Cheese from the EP but was nonetheless very tasty...

The dock of had, with roast potatoes and a side of ubiquitous (if only) (and, in this case, with fish, rather awry) baked beans...

"Horizon" enjoyed too re Jupiter...

Then, to compiling this week's podcast - the first 14 tracks each reflect the first 14 days of August, the remainder, recent acquisitions...

Today's artwork, "Cathedral Piano"...

Highlight of the Day : Music...
