Up early...

...and much of the day spent listening to fave singles/tracks from the past...

Mid-afternoon, over to Scotland's erstwhile capital, Dunfermline...

To the Abbey...

...where King Robert...

...the Bruce...

...is buried (except for his heart - that was taken on a Crusade to Jerusalem and was subsequently buried in Melrose)...

There is a 3D estimate of what his tomb looked like, before being destroyed/plundered...

It's believed the remains found here in the 1800s are his...

The declaration which states that Scots will never be ruled by the English...

More ruins, attached to the abbey and pre-dating it......

There were squirrels a plenty...

...as we walked the through the gardens bequeathed to the city by Andrew Carnegie, probably its most famous son...

Into the town for a look around...

We ended up in the Creepy Wee Pub for a drink...

..then, back past the heritage quarter...

...to Kushi's...

...for tasty Karahis...

Yum...

Back home for some telly watching and some music listening...

Today's artwork, "Small Skeletal Figure"...

Highlight of the Day : A walk in the park...
