On hallowed ground...

Playlist
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Rubinmusik 1977-2017
Various Artists - Brian Eno's Desert Island Discs
Various - Party Music

Started today with some work on the "sleevenotes" for the anthology...

This is slow work...

Solo visit to the gym around 9:30...

Home an hour later and more work...

Also filled the holes in the track list of Eno's Desert Island Discs appearance almost 17 years ago...

I wonder if he'd take a different set now...

Probably...

At 11:30 out and back to Tynecastle...

The Exec Producer was to receive a reward - "ownership" of a small piece of the playing surface in exchange for saving the club from extinction a few years ago now...

She was presented with the award by ex-Hearts striker, Derek O'Connor - just four years older than your correspondent, he ended his career in 1990 at Creeker Craig's beloved Penicuik Athletic...

Anne Budge, saviour of Hearts, presented the next set of tables - and gave some background as to where the plans have reached re her handing back the club to the fans - it's still a few years off...

The third tranche of awards was presented by head footie honcho at the club, Craig Levein...

He advised things would come good soon...

The EP had her pic taken with the two other award presenters and had a bit of a chat with the Budgemeister...

Mit Blitz...

Ohne Blitz...

Some lunch and then, out onto the pitch...

..and the new dug out which is reportedly "very comfy"...

Anne's plot is the size of an A4 sheet of paper

In fact, it's smaller than the certificate of ownership...

A different perspective of Anne's seat was provided...

Expand this for a panoramic view...

Your correspondent on hallowed ground...

Home around 3 and Tiger followed us...

...but had to be ejected, as we were soon off to Anne's mum's for tea...

Kitty was possibly a little tired...

...and Olly was too, having just, along with his dad, arrived back from Düsseldorf and seeing Schalke 04 drawing 2-2 with FC Köln in Gelsenkirchen yesterday...

Home around 8:15 and, for the third time today, wee Tiger visited...

Some late night listening and telly and it was all over for yet another weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Visit to Hearts...
