Up early and to the gym and back before Anne knew it...

Some further storage and breakfast provisions also secured...

And a wee visitor visited too...

Uploaded the podcast...

Anne was under the weather but hoping to be fine for tomorrow's footie and so stayed in all day...

I was off into town to meet up with Dr Prog at a record fair at the Filmhouse...

A fine morning as I walked from my parking spot...

...and in...

Dr Prog soon arrived and, like me, was quite taken by the "charity table" with its good selection of classical (mainly including singing) discs for just £1 or £2 for multi or box sets..

After some considerable time and a mid fair wander to the cash machine - we lunched at Subway, then made our way through the Grassmarket...

...for tasty coffee at the very centre supported by our earlier outlays...

Then, out into the very good light...

...and, dodging the traffic...

...we made our way over the Royal Mile...

...and down to Princes St and on to Fopp...

Present buying was undertaken here and in other emporia as we made our way back towards the West End...

We said our goodbyes as Phil headed off to buy a goodly amount of 2nd class stamps re Xmas cards and I continued to choose gifts...

As I returned to the car, the sun was setting...

To Tesco for some more buys and provisions, preceeded by a drop in to chum Bernie's house for a coffee, a chat and the passing over of some music...

Home and the ripping of the fair haul commenced...

This too from Fopp for £3...

Quite excellent...

In the evening a small Indian takeaway accompanied the two and a half hour "Strictly" final -  a win for Holby's Joe - fitting since Holby's Chizzy had been the first, ahem, casualty - do you see what I did there?

The ripping continued into the night...

Meanwhile, American listeners advised they could not access this week's podcast...

I realised the licensing may have been breached by my putting together a longer track by Eluvium re several of the 32 second tracks on their featured LP...

So, a second, US Version, was put together quickly, uploaded and advised as being able to be listened to...

Lesson learned...

Meanwhile, I am determined to listen to every minute of the new stuff...

Around 29.5 hours of music, all told...

After taking in the first three albums, to bed with the best of the Velvet Underground to cleanse the pallet...

Highlight of the Day : Buying music...
