The view from the office this morning...

...which was given a wee visit from chum Tiger the Cat...

On the screen is work on the cover of the upcoming collection "Rubinmusik 1977-2017" on the sounds of which some work was also carried out this morning...

In the early afternoon out to my mum's...

I gave her a selection of the songs from the set - representing 40 years of work...

She seemed reasonably impressed, although did comment on the sombre nature of most of the material...

She remains pleased, however, re the work I did on her remote controls to stop her from arsing up her TV viewing...

Home and last minute packing and trundling down the hill for an airport bus arriving with 2 hours to go...

Tasty, expensive, fish and chips for tea...

...and out to the plane...

We were seated on either side of the aisle, so no window pics...

...but, once in the air, we were able to move to a row of our own, that in front of Anne being coincidentally free...

And so, views were indeed afforded...

With Germany an hour ahead, we landed at Hahn around 11:30...

...and made our way over the road to a reasonable hotel for a one-nighter...

Let the holiday begin...
