Stop motion, great motion...

Another walk through the Grassmarket today at lunchtime, as I took the Mitchell and Maxwell Davies discs back to the library...

In the early evening, a meet up with the Exec Producer and yet another walk through the Grassmarket, this time over to the Festival Theatre for tonight's ballet by Nederlands Dans Theater...

A stop first at BRGR for tea...

Vary tasty and unpictured (as I'd left my camera in the car and the phone battery was very much depleted) burgers...

Then, a mooch around Blackwell's Books music and art department...

If it hadn't been so hot in there, I could have happily stayed all night...

But dance called and we walked over to the theatre around 7...

It seemed shut...

Anne checked the tickets...

We were at the wrong theatre...

A dash down to the Playhouse ensued and we arrived with a few minutes to spare...

Three absolutely superb pieces were presented, albeit with very long intervals between - although the staging of each piece made such delays completely understandable...

Here's a taster...

"Shoot The Moon", with music by Philip Glass...

"The Missing Door" with a soundscape created by RaphaĆ«lle Latini...

...and "Stop Motion" to the music of Max Richter...

These were some of the best pieces I've ever seen - and to have all three in one programme was just stunning...

Out into the night and a tram across town, back to the car and home, where we were, almost inevitably, joined by Tiger and Fang...

The new mixer re my expanded recording set up had also arrived...

Some watching of NDT on the Youtube and listening back to Glass, Richter and what little of Latini I could find, ensued....

A very good Monday indeed...

Highlight of the Day : The Dancing...
