Into December and it is five years now since I was recording the last CBQ song-based album - it was eventually released in August 2012...

I have not performed live as CBQ since March 2012...

However, Creek buddy Craig has been working on some music which might well develop into something new on that front...

I have jotted down the start of some lyrical ideas re his first piece...

...and he e-mailed me his second today....

So, perhaps next year will see a return to singing my own words...

Elsewhere, Queen of the South announced ex-Hearts man (and attendee at the meal before last night's game) Gary Naismith - nephew of my old school chum Bryan Naismith coincidentally - as their new manager...

He has his work cut our considering the team's recent abysmal form following sterling start to the season...

This evening, I continued the project re ensuring all compilations are ripped...

I'm up to titles beginning with "E"...

Late on, another reasonable "Question Time" despite the thickness of many of the audience ("why aren't we out of Europe yet? The people voted" etc etc as nauseam)...

"This Week" was good too.  I think many have warmed to Ed Balls since his participation in "Strictly Come Dancing"...

It's a funny old world...

Highlight of the Day : New work in the offing re CBQ...
