Up around seven and to the computer with thoughts in my head about things I could do...

Amongst them, editing out the small gaps between tracks on the copy of Neal Morse's new album which Prog Rock Willie had dropped into the Dropbox this week...

...and using the random number generator method to choose this week's podcast playlist...

To the back room and split the collection into 92 separate sections (on paper)...

Then, randomly select 26 numbers between 1 and 92 and, from each of those sections, I chose one album...

This is how I waste my time on a Saturday morning before the Exec Producer awakes...

Here, the selection..

Going forward, I have increased the possible sections to the full 99 available on the generator...

Some time spent then choosing tracks and listening and refining the music choices...

Meanwhile, upon the EP's rising, this wee monkey spotted in the garden...

...who may well also be featured in these...

Quality of this is dire but you can see Squirrel disappearing off the front wall at the gate and its chum, Magpie, making its way to a neighbour's tree...

Squirrel soon returned...

Watched by Magpie...

Not long after this, the entire coconut shell had disappeared...

In the afternoon, while Queens threw away yet another game in the league, going down 2-1 to lowly Dumbarton, and Hearts squandered the chance to beat Ross County in Dingwall, drawing 2-2, we visited my mum, after sister Sheila had advised Grand Nephew Wee Dougie would be in attendance around 4...

In the event, Sheila had to take him to the doc and, from there, to the Sick Kids Hospital, where he was admitted with Bronchialitis - apparently very common in young babies - 1 in 3 gets it, of which around 3% are hospitalised re assistance being required with breathing...

While it appears to be a virus that must run its course, the wee man is very ill and is being kept in...

Worrying times...

Indian, "Strictly" and "Michael McIntyre" kind of entertained...

Even later on, these two items made their way into the collection from the CDs rescued from brother-in-law Keith's black bags of doom two weeks ago....

...and a couple of downloads too from Sam Rivers and Pete La Roca...

And a shedload of Zappa/Mothers and Jeff Beck from Jorg's hard drive joined the fray too...

Communications with sister Sheila late on...

Lowlight of the Day : The wee man in hospital...
