Up surprisingly early - although I did feel worse than I'd imagined I might..

These the views from the office this morning...

Out, driven by the EP, to podiatrist Helen and purveyor of delights to ladies, Susie...

...followed by a tasty scrambled egg based breakfast...

...at Patisserie Florentin...

A walk around Stockbridge, including some CD emporia, produced no purchases...

Back home, a visit from Tiger the Cat...

In the afternoon, some ripping and burning - and showing off the only 2 LPs purchased this year to the Twitterati...

It was decided (by me) that the back room, once again, required to be moved around...

And so, it was...

Meanwhile Anne was off to see Hearts with her mum - a dispiriting 1-1 draw with foot of the table Partick while, in Dumfries, for the 2nd week running, Queens went ahead, fell behind and came back to draw 2-2  - this time against Dr Prog's Dunfermline..

And so, 11 league games without a win...

A surprise, and very much welcome, visit from Capital Models' drummer Keith, with his sister's dog, Clio...

The latter proceeded to wreak havoc...

...and was eventually banished to the back garden...

On Keith's exit post good chat and coffee, it was trumpeted on the Twitter that, 40 years ago today, Genesis released "Wind and Wuthering"...

From my diary for 1976, I noted it took me a few days to make a purchase - but I see to have gotten a good price, albeit the equivalent of nearly £20 in today's money...

The move continued...

...and was almost completed by the time the EP returned...

Some filing, evidently, remained...

But my classical collection was back on the back and side walls...

...and box sets had been returned to the shelving units...

This is how I waste my time...

A tasty Indian accompanied the final of "Strictly" - Danny was the best dancer throughout the series but made an error tonight which appeared to have cost him the title to the seemingly permanently weeping Ore...

So it goes...

The EP was less than pleased...

Just as well it's only a dancing competition...

Lights out...

highlight of the day : Probably "Strictly" all things considered...
