Well now, today it is five years since sister Pam left us...

She was indeed a mischievous soul, loved and, now, still, missed by many...

A night out had been in the offing until the situation with Wee Dougie this week and, indeed, the onset of my own lurgi - great news today that he has been discharged and is on his way home to Yorkshire - he will return for Christmas...

News today that sister Sheila and husband Senior are now both down with the viral infection which ailed the wee man...

And so, a postponement...

A call to my mum - she is ok with matters and I will see her on Sunday morning...

Listening today, I had this year's podcasts on shuffleplay and what should come on but the episode recorded just after the death of Keith Emerson...

Other listening today, took in a goodly amount of ELP's impressive early catalogue and Mr Lake's debut with King Crimson from 1969 and his post-exit work on the group's second LP...

Knowing these days will come does not prepare us for their coming...

A nice meet up for coffee with Creek cohort and podcast jingle-master Mr Stu Cobley, who was in town for a couple of hours on a cheeky wee trip up from the borders...

Good chat...

Highlight of the Day : Remembering my wee sis...
