Into October...

A misty morning...

Some music work and, then, out to Helen the Podiatrist for footwork, noting this on the back gate...

Post Helen, to Jane and Bobby's for a wee while...

The mist was lifting nicely...

Back home around eleven and it was gone...

Into town with the Exec Producer for brunch - Dr Prog calling off for health reasons...

Wishing the big man all the best...

Brunch enjoyed al fresco at Herbie in William Street...

...followed by a walk along Princes St...

New slippers for Anne, while I got some things I liked (see below) - strange to enter Fopp with an idea of what I wanted to buy...

Noted too the atmosphere seems more laid back and enjoyable on a Saturday...

Weird...

Back to the car, views on the way...

...and home to enjoy these...

The same shot as this morning - no mist, no bird...

In addition to the CDs purchased, I stumbled across a new download site where I found Annette Peacock's 1972 album "I'm the One"...

It was a big influence on Mick Ronson (and indeed David Bowie) back in 1972 and the same arrangement of "Love Me Tender" as that on Ronson's 1974 debut, along with two Peacock covers recorded during the "Slaughter on 10th Avenue" sessions bear this out...

I bought the Ronson LP on 9/3/74 for just £2.02...

In the evening, a very enjoyable visit from Lynn and Ross - Anne's new penchant for Mexican cooking was to the very tasty fore...

...followed by lemon tart and raspberries and cream...

Much vino and cerveza was enjoyed by the team, with the visitors calling it a night in the wee small hours of the morning...

Good times...

Highlight of the Day : CDs I actually wanted/Visit from friends/Mexican Cooking...
