Started the day listening to a new track from chum Edward Spark - this new stuff is impressive...

Makes me almost kind of wish I could be bothered doing something myself...

But, perhaps there's enough music in the world...

It's hard to make any kind of impression...

So, what's the point...

Look what I saw running around the garden this morning...

Magnificent wee beastie - hope it got home safe and sound...

This in a shop made me think it would be good to get along...

This discarded item spotted at lunchtime...

Meanwhile, Anne was visiting the newly opened Hearts museum with her mum...

...reporting too sight of much-missed chum Jamie Frain's plaque in the garden of remembrance...

Alighting the bus at the terminus this evening, a few moments of excellent light...

...and all too soon, like everything, it was gone...

Oh well...

Late bloomers in the garden cheered...

In the evening, listening to tracks for next week's podcast...

Playing other people's records seems to have become more important to me than making my own music...

C'est la guerre...

A good night for comedy on the box though - "Have I Got News For You" returned as did "Still Game" which was up there with how great it was before disappearing for 9 years - followed by "Mock the Week"...

Funny...

Highlight of the Day : Fox in the garden, the light of the evening and the return of "Still Game"...
