Breakfast us served...

...for the squirrel too...

A drive to Queensferry for a walk over the Forth Road Bridge and back...

Some (fool)hardy souls were out and about...

Much recording of events took place...

On the way over, everything seemed fine...

...but, behind us, off in the distance...

Ansem liked these padlocks...

I suppose he's of that age...

We discussed which sections of land we might buy to set up a commune where we could live with the squirrel from our garden...

As we set off back on the other side, the rain started...

We ignored it and admired the houses below...

...and the third Forth bridge...

...but things were getting stormier...

Ansem didn't seem to mind getting soaked...

By the time we got to the other side though, full changes of clothes were required...

Of course, now it cleared up...

Just as we reached the car, the heavens opened again...

Back home, changed and relaxing...

...before heading to Jane and Bobby's around four for the fortnightly family tea...

Ansem enjoyed four pieces of cake, post some very tasty chilli...

Kitty showed off her new Santa outfit...

..and Olly and Ansem seemed to hit it off...

...while Kitty was ensconced in her own...

...well, mess really...
