Some listening this morning to the recent new acquisitions whilst I wrote up the Red Book of CDs I Own - before we headed over to Jane and Bobby's to pick up Olly re today's match at Easter Road...

We were a trio of Queens fans for the day...

Queens scored quite a few goals in the warm up...

...and many of the fans were (as is the tradition for Queens' last game of the season) in fancy dress...

Here're Abba...

Conditions were good, if a little windy...

...but Queens did not trouble the Hibernian goalie...

...much to the chagrin of the Star Wars Stormtrooper and Scooby Doo...

At half time, we were holding on - Hibs needed to win by four or five goals to attain 2nd in the league and reduce their play off games by two...

Early in the second half, rather a rash tackle by Millar saw QoS reduced to ten men...

Shortly thereafter, Hibs scored twice...

...but couldn't get any more...

And so, third it was for them...

Meanwhile, results elsewhere went against Queens, who dropped to a final, disappointing, seventh of ten...

As ever though, it all begins again in a few weeks' time...

The players thanked the (long-suffering) fans...

...and jerseys were given away as souvenirs...

...and children were consoled...

Meanwhile, Scooby Doo and Thor made their way back to Dumfries...

We took Olly home and then had the biggest fish suppers in the world, got packed for Stuttgart tomorrow and enjoyed the penultimate "Undercover", before hitting the sack early re tomorrow's early rise...

Highlight of the Day : Queens live, in concert...
