Breakfast at home and then, with Anne heading uptown for a long leisurely lunch with chums Chris-with-a-Ch and Gillian, I drove through to Glasgow for a couple of hours...

This is a colour picture...

My target was Ortago Lane...

..and Mixed Up Records...

...where I partook of possibly slightly too many CDs - over two separate visits...

To be fair though, these would have set me back over £180 on Amazon and I acquired them for just £34...

Had a wee walk around the Byre's Road area in between my splurges...

Then drove home and commenced the long task of ripping and listening, while keeping an eye on the Scottish Cup Final...

Anne's nemesis, Hibs, were in the lead after just three minutes, then an equaliser from Scotland's newest club...

The latter then took the lead and I thought that would be it...

But no, with 10 minutes to go, Hibs equalised and then their captain, David Gray, in true "Roy of the Rovers" fashion, headed the winner in injury time, before lifting the cup - the first time anyone in a Hibs jersey has done so for 114 years...

So well done Hibernian...

Meanwhile, a new, standing position was adopted, the Exec Producer, on her return in the early evening, having read something about too much sitting being not good for you...

The beast was about its business whilst standing up...

Later on, more listening and ripping before watching the highlights of the game...

I'm not a Hibs fan by any stretch of the imagination but they deserved their win and I was glad the other side did not gain an opportunity to crow any more than they usually do...

Highlight of the Day : Hibs winning the cup...
