The view from the office this morning...

...where a reasonable quality recording of Roy Wood's Wizzo Band live on the BBC was stumbled across and acquired for posterity - and listened to on my travels...

This this morning...

This this evening...

The superb jazz rock of Miroslav Vitouš soundtracked the walk down the hill to home...

...where enthusiasm for the time of year was noted...

I had partaken of this at the British Heart Foundation for just one hundred and ninety nine of your English new pence...

Rolling Stone opine it is the greatest soul album ever - I prefer the works of Isaac Hayes...

Nonetheless, it now nestles nicely between the Arditti String Quartet and Argent in my iTunes...

Telly tonight included two episodes of "Supernatural" via the Tivo (while Anne was out - I can only watch this on its own), a little of "Masterchef", the final episode of "Cuffs" - really enjoyed this and hope it returns - and, quite possibly, the best "Toast" so far of the series - even surpassing "Hamm on Toast"...

Music wise, albums by Peter Hammill (which I've had for a year but had forgotten about) and John McLaughlin were particularly enjoyed...

Chosen for being at numbers 3 and 1 respectively in chum Sid Smith's albums of the year in Prog Magazine...

Pain-wise, a better day too...

That'll do nicely...

Highlight of the day : New music...
