Christmassy today...

A visit to the dentist first thing, with The Best Xmas EP in the World...Ever soundtracking both the journey there and the journey back...

Breakfast with Anne and then the final jazz CDs ripped...

In all, 419 previously missing rock/pop and jazz albums (over 420 hours of music) have been added to the laptop based iTunes over the last 10 days...

Ready for some (careful) Xmas shenanigans with chums uptown...

Anne very kindly gave me a lift in...

...and the festivities ensued...

Secret Santa resulted in some Miles Davis and Chet Baker being received...

...which was very thoughtful and better than a novelty thong...

I took it much easier than previous years - no trips out to the airport and back due to falling asleep on the bus this year...

A couple of pink proseccos...

...a nice meal, good chat and a few Peronis and I was fine...

Sort of...

But, sadly, there was none of this for me...

Around ten, the pain was starting to take hold and so a taxi call to the Exec Producer brought me home absolutely not the worse for wear...

Ended the day with "Graham Norton" and "Josh" before conking out...

Highlight of the Day : Celebrations...

That looked like a great party. Glad you were well enough to go and enjoy yourself. You're getting there. Good!

Tomorrow it'll be 7 weeks since the op - which has flown by. There's no doubting I'm much better but still a wee bit to go yet. I can do almost everything I was able to before. Paracetamol isn't good for the liver and Cocodamol has other unfortunate effects so I'm striving not to go back to painkilling - which is probably why the pain is so noticable. Onwards ans upwards though
