First Saturday back home and, apart from visiting Helen the Podiatrist first thing, I spent the entire day in the house working on the pics from Canada...

Outside, the day started well...

...and breakfast was good...

In the evening, out to sister Sheila's in Penicuik for a wee celebration of nephew Ali's 26th birthday earlier this week...

Mum was in attendance, driving herself up for once...

Cassie the dog seems to like Annie...

Great Nephew Kerr and his step-mum Tori, who is expecting his brother/sister in December, were also here...

...as was keyboard maestro and now honourary Yorkshireman, nephew Andy

The boys, Andy and Ali...

Fun around the table...

Senior and Ali's number one lady, Julie...

Sister Sheila - she'll kill me for this...

Meanwhile, I'd been afflicted with a bit of a swollen forehead...

The birthday boy...

The boy and his dad...

My mum's first love - cake...

...which followed her equal first love, strawberries, meringue and cream...

Kerr takes after his great grandmother...

Home around 10:30 and enjoyed the first in the new series of "Dr Who"...

The years are flying by...
