An uneventful Sunday, much of which was spent listening to King Crimson...

...and compiling a composite setlist of all the pieces they played on their UK Tour...

This is how I waste my time...

While Anne watched league leaders beat Hearts at Tynecastle 3-1, I visited my mum and she enjoyed her Maple Syrup Creams...

...and a selection of our Canadian photographs...

In the evening, a tasty Chinese post picking Anne up and some music while she watched the first in the new series of Downton Abbey...

I downloaded the covers concert we saw I Toronto on 3 September - including Dave Bidini's intro of us to the crowd as having come all the way from Edinboro, Scotland (Encore Chat 2)...

Proud...

Crispycat Latest Release

David Reilly AKA Cloudland Blue Quartet, created his first soundscape, "The Drone Effect" back in December 1977. 46 years later, he finally gave two live soundscape performances, in Edinburgh on 4 November 2023 and in Newcastle on 18 January 2024, playing the 40 minute piece available here on Bandcamp as "Live Suite 2023/24". On 30 August 2024 he premiered a new 40 minute suite for 2024/25 at Fopp in Edinburgh and this piece was performed again at the Switched On Electronic Music Festival in Whitby, Yorkshire on 9 November 2024. This album, "Live Suite 2024/25" was created specifically to be performed at these last two events and, like "Live Suite 2023/24", may well be performed again in the future. In a one-man crusade to encourage the world to broaden its musical horizons, David has been broadcasting a weekly Eclectic Selection of music from across his vast record collection since 2014.
