A day of mostly driving but it started with another excellent breakfast, as we came down, through the living room...

...to the dining room...

This picture does not do matters justice...

Once again, the eggs were a delight - accompanied by cinnamon toast, bacon, peaches, banana and maple syrup...

Out and our first rain of the trip...

We decided to avoid the freeway as much as possible - which led to a 15 minute wait early on as we waited for a large ship to pass through a canal...

...and off it went into the distance...

...as the sun came out we eventually joined the highway and made our way back round the shores of Lake Ontario,,,

...over the bridge, bypassing Hamilton once again and towards Burlington...

We veered North before hitting Toronto...

...and filled up the car in Milton...

...taking a brief coffee stop at a Tim Horton's...

..before heading on, north on the Bruce Trail...

Luckily we were driving rather than hiking...

A middle of nowhere stop for lunch at Camp Burger near Shelburne...

The beast was about its sustenance intake...

...as was his companion...

Half and half, kind of...

Back to the car...

...and onwards, Northwards...

Finally arriving at Collingwood after four and a half hours...

...for a one night stay...

This room was big but right next door to the machine room for the pool...

A couple of floors up on the other side of the building was better...

Out with a lady whose name was on a drink...

CBQ's first Canadian performance...

We took a wander around the town, once one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes...

..a port which is now more about leisure...

This is for the brewery, just out of town, where the beer drunk by your correspondent back on the first day of the trip is brewed...

To the Govt licensed alcohol outlet LCBO...

..and then down to the headland of the old docks...

...now known as the Millennium Overlook Park...

...where we looked over...

Anne spotted a wee monkey in the distance...

A cheeky wee muskrat...

...accompanied by its chum, the seagull...

Can you spot the muskrat?

Geese overhead...

...and beast on my shirt...

An idyllic spot...

Back to the hotel and the bag was opened...

More Sidelaunch...

...which had an effect...

Later on, out for dinner at a nearby sports bar...

Blue Jays once more enjoyed....

...as was the nosh...

Out into a thunder storm and pelting rain...

The rather wet holidaymakers were to be found in a lift, just before...

...lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Collingwood dockland, regenerated...
