A trip along to the foreign exchange outlet at lunchtime resulted in zero Canadian dollars being acquired - as it turns out we'll get a 2.5% better rate if we order online and have them delivered...

Such are the vagaries of forex...

These on the way back - the streets are packed...

At home, I was spotted by a wee chum in the garden...





...and this was behind the door...


It replaced Chicago's "V" after that LP had sent 9 weeks at the top of the US charts in the Autumn of 1972...

Mr Mayfield was number one for four weeks...

The Chicago album is spectacularly "difficult"- nothing like that (or "Superfly") gets made these days, never mind gets to number one...

Better times?

Musically, possibly...

Meanwhile, questions were asked of the cat and its constitution...


Quorn chicken salad for tea tonight...

The EP hates Quorn and enjoyed the usual "real" chicken...

Both of us did reasonably at "University Challenge" before I retired upstairs to work and skive...

Another "field recording" piece submitted, this time for a show in Manchester in October...
