Listening to Rheostatics today, kind of in prep for seeing them early next month...

Another gig booked for two days earlier will see a host of Canadian musicians covering Rheos songs at the same venue, before the band set up camp for three nights, the middle of which we will witness...

I believe I am possibly their only fan in the UK and one of only two in Europe...

Meanwhile, back at home, this arrived...

I have inadvertently been collecting Bruckner's Vienna period symphonies and this is the last required...

I had planned a night of Bruckner's symphonies but, to be honest, there was only so much I could take...

Moved on to the genius of Yello's Boris Blank then, for the first time in a long time, listened back to last November's Capital Models' covers gig - my vocals, in hindsight, are not the best...

Then, on from that to one of my earliest recordings, from December 1977, "The Drone Effect" - this the 2011 remix version which involves a certain amount of treatment and doctoring of the original 30 minute tape but nothing new was added...

Then, Kat McKenzie's album which CM's drummer Keith Apter and I worked on just over a couple of years ago now...

It could have been better but time and financial constraints resulted in how it ended up being...

Two episodes of "Person of Interest" were the highlight of the day - loving this show...

Ended the day with the infinite quartet section of the proposed new CBQ album...

Hoping to get some more work done on it this weekend but, as ever, we'll see...

Lights out...

Highlight of the day : Person of Interest
