A good while later, after fighting off the midges at the front of the queue, I was first in and straight to the front for a perfect view...
They played a completely different set from last night's gig with Joshua Redman at the Queen's Hall, including five or six songs from their upcoming album (end September)...
A quite breathtaking display of jazz genius was provided by Iverson, Anderson and King...
All too soon, despite a super-long show, it was all over...
...and I was back home to Anne and Meg in time to watch the Tivo'd final episode of "Line of Duty"...
An excellent end to an excellent series with an unexpected final twist...
