Aaargghhh!

Or rather - .............!!

I lost my voice...

And so, unable to use the phone or to speak to anyone, a day spent working from Crispycat Towers, connected by the wonder that is the net...

Even though I was at home, new music came to me, taking the form of, firstly, two CDs out of the blue from Macclesfield Craig...

The rather wonderful Bright Eyes and their album "Cassadaga" complete with secret images on its cover, only viewable with the enclosed "Spectral Decoder" - accompanied by a disc from San Francisco powerpoppers Every Move a Picture...

And, from t'interweb, came a prog disc by the oddly named "Helmet of Gnats" - tasty - and then there was the rather huge cathedralic awesome sounds of Muse's new long player - yowsa!

In the evening, despite my loss of voice, I fulfilled a promise to brother-in-law Keith to use currently-in-Ibiza-on-holiday-with-girlfriend-Dawn nephew Craig's season ticket to see Hearts play Kilmarnock...

Made my way to the ground with Anne and her mum, also season ticket holders...



Enjoyed the unusual view of the pitch from what is known as the famiuly enclosure...



Hearts eventually won 1-0 after eschewing a barrel-load of chances and then giving away a free kick in injury time on the edge of their box...

An exciting enjoyable evening...
