Up pre 7 am and did all the dishes from yesterday...

To the PC determined to sort out the Crispycat website, the front page of which has been stuck in 2006 for a couple of months...

Meg the Black Cat helped from her position inside the top of the wardrobe which she attained unaided by human hand...

Ah she is so cute....

To my surprise we succeeded and all is now up to date...

The mail brought this month's "The Wire" with its free CD "The Wire Tapper 22" - some absolutely astonishingly bad stuff on there - and some absolutely astonishingly good stuff too...

But there could be so much more good stuff if they just got rid of the people who are, patently, crap - stand up "Shits And Giggles" whoever you are??

A day at home today waiting for the gas man to come “sometime between 12 and 5” to service our fire, boiler and central heating...

Inconvenient but I had no real plans in any case...

Anne went off to her mum’s to meet up and walk to Tynecastle for Hearts v Kilmarnock...

I attempted a sing through my songs for my upcoming performance, now confirmed for 4 November...

However, I have developed a very sore throat and horrible hacking cough over the last few days and found I cannot sing at present...

Instead I set about creating an acoustic version of “Soundingfall” from the master mixes...

Anne’s game was postponed as the Kilmarnock team got stuck on the M8 due to a lorry going on fire...

We could have gone off somewhere but, instead, a beautiful afternoon was spent waiting in for the gas man...

Not to go into details but suffice to say, when Customer Services called at 4:59 pm to say they wouldn’t be coming – a very irate phone conversation ensued...

A call back from a supervisor resulted in a definite visit on Monday morning between 8 and 10 and a cheque for £30 winging its way to Crispycat Towers...

The evening was spent catching up on recent taped stuff plus “The Last Night of the Proms” – posh people’s sense of humour is strange...

“Land of Hope & Glory” rocked though...

Didn’t manage the whole of “Match of the Day” before retiring “tired”...

Highlight of the Day : Gig confirmed...
