Still incapacitated somewhat by raggedy heels – damn you new boots!

Another lovely morning...

And a lovely midday...

A call from Mr Peri Urban to advise he is making good progress regarding the learning of some CBQ songs from "Soundingfall" for a still-to-be-confirmed live outing on 7 October...

We will rehearse together on Monday evening...

Tonight, a visit from chums Debbie and Sid – I drove to their place to bring them over, enjoying some Art Pepper blasting in the Clouldand Blue Mobile as I made my way...

A detour on the way back took us down by Silverknowes beach where we witnessed a beautiful sunset...

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the camera to hand, so you’ll just have to take my word for it...

The Exec Producer was in her element tonight having spent time yesterday and today preparing dinner...

We started with Broccoli and Toasted Almond Soup, followed by Sea Bass Fillets on a Bed of Mash with Asparagus and Oven Roasted Vine Tomatoes and rounded things off nicely with a tangy Lemon Posset and Fresh Raspberries...

Beautiful and tasty – just like the Exec Producer...

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the camera to hand, so you’ll just have to take my word for it...

Much beer and wine was consumed including a lovely bottle of Canadian Desert Wine...

We had an excellent evening, which stretched into early morning, with Sid and Debbie taking a cab home around 1:30 am...

We have promised to accompany them next August on a trip to celebrate their climbing of their 283rd and last Munro...

So far, Sid has bagged 282 and Debbie 281...

Funnily enough, your correspondent has not bagged any...

Stunning photos Mr.CBQ. That wine must have been good - Debbie and I have no memory of being in your company whatsoever!

What - you mean there's another Sid and Debbie?

Imposters!

Cheers for the compliment on the pics Sid...

Yes indeed, you have been imposted by one of Anne's old work chums and her lovely husband...

His real name is not Sid though, if that's any consolation - but then I don't think your real name is Sid either, if I recall correctly?

I may be wrong on that but my headphone chord doesn't stretch to the room where I keep your book on the mighty KC...

No you're absolutely right. Sid is a nickname I was given by Claire Hamill in 1973 and it just stuck! I guess that makes the non-Sid and Debbie thing even spookier! (well not really but you know what I mean).
