Thursday...
I was probably not going out...
The views from the office this morning...
Some work was done...
I had an idea re the recent work on "Poshgirl" with Edward Spark...
A live Disquiet guitar performance, using arpeggio type tracks by Mr Spark...
For a moment we were enthused...
I'm writing this on Tuesday morning and, I must admit, I'd very nearly forgotten we'd even considered this...
Anne was off out for lunch with Debbie today - the Greek place in Dalry - by her account later, very good indeed...
I gave her a lift to Roseburn for the meet up then continued anyway over to the far side of town to the place where, last time I was there, or 2nd last time, I found 60 classical CDs...
This time?
Nothing...
Back home half an hour later and set up the equipment, thinking perhaps of doing some work re the idea above...
After an hour or so, with nothing having been good, I put it all away again...
...and listened to my favourite LP, so far, of 2026...
I posted it on BlueSky and asked others for theirs...
I have over 1200 "followers"...
Over the piece, I got back around 40 recommendations - some of which I partook of to take a listen (see below for the initial intake - more came in over the next couple of days)...
Eventually, I got the call from Anne and headed out to pick her up...
No tea required so I cooked for one...
Pasta, with an onion, some n'duja, some French sausage and some cream of tomato soup, as a ready made sauce...
A sprinkling of parmigiana and a twist of black pepper...
Tasted much better than it sounds!
Later on Fang popped by for something he likes...
The tail was swishing...
I managed not to have any body part slashed...
...and off he went...
Later still, advising a chum in the US of this set, purchased in Spain...
...and giving him the record label details...
Some last minute "work" and, then, bed...
Highlight of the Day: New music recommendations from chums...
