Playlist
Up reasonably early on a Saturday morning and attending to stuff...
...and the next CD Box, No 123, from Grant Green to Herbie Hancock...
...from which I chose this live recording...
...from 1972...
...which I seemed to recall was pretty good stuff indeed...
...and, on playing it, after yesterday's chosen Gong disc, I found my recollection to have been correct...
At 10:30, over to Anne's mum's care home for a visit - including coffees in the cafe, where photos of the recent Austro-German trip were shown...
Home, just before a hailstone shower...
Then, while I compiled and created a companion Yes compilation to that of the other day (this time, all the closing tracks from their LPs)...
...Anne prepped some tasty home made soup for lunch...
At 1:30, into the car and a drive to that Bridge of Allan, to spend the afternoon with Sister Sheila and her extended family, quite possibly three years since our last visit...
...which was before Belle was born...
The view from the office this afternoon...
There was a "Mardi Gras" parade of fancy dressed campers from each of the Camping Clubs on site...
...followed by a quiz inside the big tent, lead by sister Sheila, Senior, Andy and, helping out, young Harris...
Some people were not paying attention to the questions...
There were also...
...unsavoury toilet facilities...
Earlier, I'd used the one in Ali's caravan and blamed Harris for my not understanding how it worked and telling everyone that he had been the culprit......
He was upset by this, until I told him to ask Auntie Anne if Uncle David ever told lies...
"All the time" came the response...
That made him feel better...
I then bamboozled him by saying that "Everything I say is a lie, and that's the truth"...
Later, a great big, unpictured, Chippie takeaway for all concerned...
It was similar to that of three years ago though...
An old man was seen playing with his nephews and grand nephews...
...and was pleased to advise he was on the winning team...
6-5 for CBQ, Lockie and Andy v Dougie, Harris and Ali - which may well gave been a greater triumph than Queen of the South thrashing Alloa, in Alloa, 4-1 to end up 3rd in the league...
First play off match will be on Tuesday, at home, against Stenhousemuir...
An uneventful drive home (an accidental detour having been endured on the way up)...
"Taskmaster" and two episodes of the new Season of "St Denis" entertained on our return to Crispycat Towers...
Then, some football highlights, some music listening, and bed...
Highlight of the Day: A visit to the campsite...
