An unexpected destination can be fine...

Playlist

Tuesday, up late...

Scenes, including the Luna routine...

Anne was off to Livingston, with Lynn, on a shopping trip, so I decided I'd pop to Linlithgow on the bus, suitable attired...

Obviously, I swapped my slippers for boots before leaving the house...

Down the hill...

Just as the bus was supposed to have arrived, I noted it was cancelled...

A bus to Glasgow pulled up so I decided to go there instead...

...soundtracked by new acquisitions...

Journeyed with filthy windows..

Arrived around 11:30...

..and sourced a number 6 bus over to Kelvinside...

...going past the Art School...

...still being soundtracked by new stuff...

A 10 minute journey...

My first visit to Mixed Up in a while...

I used to love it here but (a) they've gone almost full vinyl and (b) all their bargain CDs are no longer on display...

Accordingly, no purchases and unlikely ever to bother to return...

Shame...

Next door into Voltaire & Rousseau...

The shop cat was entertaining this young German couple...

...before heading off...

I nabbed this for £2...

Out and it started to rain...

Took a No 4 back over to the centre...

..and, inevitably, into Missing...

In the hour between these two pictures I searched through their stuff and emerged with 4 CDs...

...and headed back to the bus station for the journey home at 2:30...

...still soundtracked by new stuff...

Anne was at Lynn's for a cup of tea post shopping and her journey home coincided with my bus alightment...

Home...

Lovely new coat for the EP...

And new things for me...

The good thing about a Philip Glass opera is that there's not much singing...

This wasn't as good as I'd expected...

This was suitably weird - it may be listened to again if the right moment is identified...

And, finally, this - I swithered long and hard about getting it but, in the end, convinced myself it was volume 1 which I already had and so, proceeeded...

I was entirely wrong, of course...

Goddammit...

Fish and chips for tea.  I could not remember the word for asparagus and had to ask Anne "what's this green stuff again?"...

That's a worry - as Luna's face appeared to confirm...

Much of the evening spent listening to the new discs, while watching Wrexham, who I've "supported" since the late 60's, due to their having an "x" in their name, go down to Cardiff in the league cup, 2-1, at home...

Oh well...
