After last night's late return home, up super early and dug out the recorder and the SD Card and loaded up the recording...

...and soon had all the tracks out to the band pre breakfast...

Scrambled egg for me...

Poached for Annie...

The stuff awaited its put back...

Which was done, except for the very heavy speakers, before we set off back down to the wilds of the borders for the actual wedding...

We stopped off in Peebles for lunch...

...before driving on to Tibbie Shiels...

The jetty had been done up...

Children were excited...

It was becoming overcast as the groom's party took their places...

A request was made for no pics and to live the moment, which I duly did...

Almost as soon as the ceremony started, it began to rain...

It rained until the moment the ceremony ended, 45 minutes later...

All were soaked...

But happy!

Into the marquee..

...while wedding photos were posed for...

The reception was unconventional but all the more enjoyable for being so...

We were seated with bassist Keith and partner, Elaine...

Kilted Drummer Johnny W, came to visit...

The entertainment was a ceilidh band...

Meanwhile, the young mixologist at the table was concocting some cocktails...

I must admit to not being a  fan of the ceilidh...

...which was reinforced just as it got to the time for us to start the long drive home, as a Proclaimers song was struck up...

An enjoyable day...

On our way to the car, we found bride Vassia in a field with her cohorts practising a dance routine...

At least I think that's what they were doing...

I was knackered with all the driving over the last two days and opted for bed almost as soon as we arrived home, just before 10...

A day of relaxation tomorrow perhaps...
