When I woke, I was convinced it was Monday but, no, it was Sunday...

First thing, sorted out the tags on a couple of things brought in from Prog Rock Willie via the Dropbox then, got down to compiling my current Top 100 2023 releases, with 197 days of the year gone..

And this soundtracked the majority of the day...

Out to Sainsbury and Lidl for shopping - Sainsbury server problem meant I had to scan everything at the checkout, leaving Anne calling me to find out where I was...

Which was almost home...

Breakfast - I have decided to try and eschew bread, in yet another periodical quest to deprive myself of the things I really like, in order to be able to really like them for a bit longer...

Accordingly...

Problems with the mouse over the last few days led to this purchase...

A picture for no particular reason...

The tennis started - a couple of sets in, we had to set off to my mum's...

Another fraught visit with her constant negativity about, well, everything really...

Post that, to Ikea to purchase some things for the kitchen and a nifty wee chair to put in the computer room for when I want to just sit and listen without standing at the machines...

I spent a considerable amount of time today writing this up and left myself with just the day of the pre wedding gig to do, as I went downstairs to watch the final points of the tennis...

A new name, other than Djokovic, Federer, Nadal or Murray on the trophy for the first time in 21 years...

...and tasty chili for tea...

Later, wrote the final (for now) entry and published them all - up to date again at last, post the Spain trip, now three weeks in the past...

Back downstairs and got sucked into the Elton John biopic "Rocket Man" which bore very little resemblance to the reality of his life - songs completely in the wrong place, blatantly false characterisations etc etc...

I wonder if anyone watched it and thought it was correct - I suppose they did...

I'd like to see a real one...

Bed...

Highlight of the Day : Finally up to date again...
