Once again the machines awaited...
It was a sunny day...
...and, despite having all this...
...more stuff was downloaded (see below)...
News that my latest podcast, despite having garnered only a handful of listens, is No 6 in the classical charts...
Hmmm...
On Sunday we will visit sister Sheila and family on a campsite in North Berwick - the weather forecast looks ominous...
Around 11, we were off out...
Drove to Balgreen for the tram...
...and took it down to the new terminus at Granton...
We railed against the tram because of the costs - my feelings remain the same but, now that it's here, might as well use it...
And, because we are so old, we get it for free...
Alighted and took a walk around...
...followed by lunch at the Haven...
...then, a tram back to the foot of Leith Walk, which we walked up...
A stop at Elvis Shakespeare resulted in a 50p CD purchase (see below), shortly after which, small beers were required...
...and were duly had, at the very nice Bier Hoose...
...followed by another tram back to Balgreen and a drive home...
...where today's acquisition was enjoyed...
An eclectic selection indeed...
Fang visited - he's been doing so almost every day now for a wee while, which is fine by us - we love the wee man - even though he's been known to pee on our TV table...
At the end of his visits he seems always to be in a quandary as to whether he actually wants to go...
"The Lincoln Lawyer" season one, episodes 7 and 8 were enjoyed - a satisfactory conclusion with a wee bit of a cliffhanger to take us into season two...
Upstairs to search through the new edition of The Wire for music that looks interesting...
Several of these found and acquired (see below), others unobtainable as yet...
Ended the day with a mystery photo/future album sleeve...
Lights out...
