The views...

It was early...

Tomato on toast for breakfast...

Anne was off out with Lynn for lunch, down Leith, via the tram...

I drove to Davidson's Mains, only to find that the one remaining charity shop there that sells CDs, no longer sells CDs...

On to Granton...

I had a hankering for the haggis balls I'd seen Greg Wallace on the telly eating the other day but, at £9 a pop, I opted instead for nearby Mason's Bakery and one of their very tasty bridies for £1.50...

To Stockbridge and parked on the roof of Waitrose...

...and walked along to the Shelter Shop...

...then Oxfam and the BHF before heading home...

Today's 5 acquisitions

Top notch piano music...

Top notch soul and funk (much of which I have already but, you know)...

Top notch Haydn - sadly, the box has been sun-faded from being in Shelter's window for too long - it ought to be the colour which was uncovered by the removal of the price stickers...

Always good to find a Glenn Gould CD for £1 which I don't already have - especially so when you look it up and find it's worth around £25...

And this disc led me to find more by the quite adventurous Alexanders...

All purchases enjoyed at home direct from the Marantz CD 41 to my AKG K502s...

...with coffee...

Eventually Anne arrived home and tea was enjoyed...

The sack was hit towards midnight...

Highlight of the Day : Shopping for CDs
