...everything waited...
..and coffee was prepared...
An hour later, Anne's mum called - trying to recall what happens when she goes to church had kept her awake all night...
After half an hour of conversation, she was not too bad and off she went...
I loaded up the recording of her piano playing yesterday and worked on a new piece based around the edited version of it...
Breakfast...
Then, back to it...
By 10:15, it as finished...
It is really rather good...
I think it'll be in the podcast at the weekend, under "what did you do this week, Dave?"...
And it'll no doubt show up in December on "Twentytwentythree"...
I posted a link on the family Whatsapp...
Brother in Law Keith took a listen and opined "Marvellous stuff Dave...and great orchestration..." - which was nice...
Anne went off to her mum's to make sure she got to the church...

Well, no, it wasn't The Nice, it was ELP...
This afternoon, shopping done and to my mum's...
Then, to North Berwick, where an unpictured toastie based lunch at Costa Coffee was followed by ice cream...
...and a brief walk around...
Then, to the reasonably nearby campsite to meet up with the family (all now caravanners LOL)...
Played some footie with grand nephews Dougie, Lockie and Harris...
...and some just sitting around and chatting with sister Sheila, nephews Ali and Andy and nieces in law Julie and Tori...
Some impromptu guitaring undertaken with Andy...
At six, we headed home, hoping the shopping was still ok...
It was...
Oooh, another top 10 podcast...
Almost inevitably, Fang popped in...
He found a brand new place...
...and slept for a good few hours before we put him out around 11:30...
The first half of the second season of "The Lincoln Lawyer" was brought to a close but we only have to wait 10 days or so for the 2nd half...
Weekend over...
