Up and to the back room...
...and, then, back to the machines
Working on a track from Malcolm - one we used to do in Crazy Wisdom which he'd re-recorded but I just couldn't get the timings right to meld the two together...
Not to worry...
Session abandoned...
Breakfast...
Listening to Markus Reuter...
Then, back to working on Malcom's discs, putting together a quick remix of "Origin"...
This time, success...
Fell asleep during "Unstable"...
At 2 or so, to B&Q, Anne looking for some things re "projects"...
I looked at small jars of paint...
The blue does not come across correctly in the pic though...
To Loanhead and shopping for my mum then to hers, shopping put away and chat...
Anne had one eye on the Hearts v Leeds friendly - a 1-0 loss was decent...
Mum directed me to the Loanhead History group on the Fleecebook...
Some interesting photos found...
Well, interesting for me anyway...
My mum and dad at a "do" in 1989, or was it 1998?
Tye cover of the Gala Day Programme...
...for the year when sister Pam was "Queen"...
An advert for the shop in Loanhead from which I bought my 7" singles before I ever ventured into Edinburgh of a Saturday...
The Kevock Choir, of which I was a member for a couple of years but post this pic...
My music teacher Alex Elrick was the conductor and driving force...
The Exec Producer's aunt Margaret was a member, along with the mum and dad of my chums Sandy, Kenny and Mikey Harkness...
Davie Roseburgh (front row 3rd from right) with whom I played football for many years and who now lives in the cul de sac where my mum still lives...
Jimmy Dea (front row 2nd from right) - again a long time football playing chum...
Isobel Kelner (2nd left) an old school chum...
Then, Sheila, Andy, Tori, Kerr, Dougie and Lockie arrived from North Berwick...
A large order for Chinese Takeaway ensued, very kindly paid for by my mum...
We only had a 2020 menu from the excellent "Gourmet" down the road...
As a consequence, the bill was 25% higher than the 3 year old menu indicated...
But, it was still great value and extremely tasty fayre was enjoyed by us all...

Good times...
All dishes done and house re-tidied and we all set off into the night around 7...
Back home, I noted how "attractive" the new Twitter logo is (not)...
Some Kraan enjoyed and then loads more downloaded, filling the big Kraan shaped hole in the collection...
Penultimate "Crime" enjoyed...
Fell asleep again...
Oh well...
Weekend over once again...
Highlight of the Day : Family Chinese...
