Up, you guessed it, early, on this Saturday morning...

...to get the podcast recorded and out...

Views...

Later this morning, into town...

This was partaken of at the now not very often but previously almost every day visited BHF shop at the West End...

Organ music by 14 composers who, collectively, lived and worked across Europe between 1459 and 1665...

Tasty...

Then, to Fopp - to meet with Dr Prog, who partook of the new Wobbler CD, while I took these, opening the account on my large Secret Santa Fopp token...

Five years of funk across 18 top notch tracks from the Shuggmeister...

Sadly, no liner notes but not to worry, info is out there...

It’s the wonder of the age...

A 2CD set which, unlike many of its ilk out there, contains a goodly number of tasty rarities I don’t already have elsewhere...

Funky...

Just 99 copies of this 10” were pressed in 1964...

Master tapes don’t exist & VG copies go for over £1,000...

In 2003 an unplayed copy, gifted to a friend who “didn’t like jazz” by the guy who pressed the record turned up...

Remastered to a 22min CD...

Top!

Then, round the corner to George St for our "Xmas Lunch"...

The doc always insists on some cake...

Out...

...for some obtaining of Xmas presents for the Exec Producer before making my way home...

This evening, a very tasty casserole from said EP, followed by the final of "Strictly"...

Bill Bailey held his own against his younger rivals...

...and, amazingly, won the competition...

...which my own scorecard had kind of predicted...

For me, his show dance just put him marginally ahead...

A good result even though, over the course of the series, HRVY and Maisie were better dancers...

But a good result...

The rest of the evening was I think, spent listening to the new acquisitions...

Highlight of the Day : Bill Bailey wining Strictly...
