Ooops...

That's better...

Up late...

But I'm on holiday...

As part of my listening today, I caught up with a couple of random LPs early on...

Alice Cooper from 1983...

His final Warners LP - what a cover and, actually, a great album...

The Coop claims to remember nothing about recording it...

It was his last LP for 3 years which, while perfectly acceptable these days, was a very long time between LPs in the 80s...

Then, this from Steve Harley, which I enjoyed a lot more than I expected to...

...of course, post Zenith in 1979 but still top...

Out and took Anne along to her mum's at Roseburn...

...from where I walked into town re a necessary errand...

Good views on a bright sunny day...

...although it was very cold...

Despite all shops supposedly being shut re non-essential items, I still managed to pick this up for a couple of quid...

I may watch it at some point...

Back to Anne's mum's and then, home...

Views as the sun went down...

More LPs played, while posting up on Twitter the final acquisitions of 2020 - in all, the tally rose to 497, counting the new Brian Eno LP...

Speaking of whom, of all 497 albums posted on Twitter through the year, it was this that received the most "likes"..

LP-wise though, today, I played this one, which is another all time fave, complete with inserts...

And Fripp & Eno - my original German pressing, bought in Berchtesgaden in 1974...

And Sparks' 80's backing band Gleaming Spires, their second LP...

And, last for today, the first Francoise Hardy LP I ever bought...

...and the final random LP of 2020, as it was due to be played tomorrow...

And so Wednesday was over and tomorrow is the last day of the year...

The strange, weird year, that has been 2020...

Highlight of the Day : Being outside...
