Up early, as I had still to finish off the podcast - usual story...

It included the latest CBQ experiment, concocted to demonstrate to drummer Johnny what I'd like him to do for me drums-wise - the first fruits of which arrived today over the ether and were deemed "good"...

Once again, records were not played...

...but a tasty breakfast was enjoyed, with the radio, as is our Saturday habit...

Constituted a digital version of a compilation found on the net, purporting to be what David Bowie and Iggy Pop may have listened to whilst living in Berlin...

The end result was ok but probably not as good as the sound of the concept itself...

Maybe I need to compile an alternative...

This big, big box arrived...

I had hoped for much tunelessness but the title of the box is really a bit of a misnomer, given, while all the composers were indeed alive in the 20th Century, much of the music was written in the 19th...

Still good though, and I listened in the back room as opposed to immediately ripping, which is the norm...

20CDs for just over £12 - bargain city...

In the early afternoon, post lunch and "Star Trek : Discovery", out to get our first ever flu vaccinations...

Some nice art on the walls of the large doctors' surgery which was hosting the walk through centre...

We had attempted to get these yesterday, in an unmentioned adventure, re a drive through centre - however, upon our arrival, it was clear we'd have been sitting in a queue in the car for far too long and abandoned that, in favour of today's adventure...

We overheard a man behind us today advising he'd been at the drive-through yesterday and waited 90 minutes, only then to be told it was shutting and he wouldn't be getting the jab...

Ridiculous planning from the people who are running these things...

Does not bode well at all for any Covid vaccination roll out...

Just so much incompetence...

Unlike visiting Fang - who is extremely competent at wheedling Dreamies from us and scoffing them down...

...before patiently asking for the window to be re-opened so he can continue on his adventurous way...

Lovely wee boy...

In the evening, listening (one track each from my top 100 of 2020) while watching "Strictly", an Indian takeaway having been enjoyed...

I'm sure we probably watched something else too, no doubt a few more episodes od "Star Trek"...

That was it for the day...

Highlight of the Day : A quick and simple flu jab... And big box of piano...
