Listening to the weird and wonderful music of the (Postponed) Donaueschinger Musiktage through the night and first thing this morning...

Was up quite late today...

To Sainsbury for my mum's shopping and a cheeky wee croissant for Anne - granola for your correspondent...

Soundtracked by Brian Eno...

I am hoping for his new LP for Xmas, given I only have a digital version at present...

Back home, an always welcome visitor...

...and another...

Re the breakfast accompanying music - how Twitter works : A tweet was noted yesterday advising Eno’s “RAMS” will be out in CD in January as well as the current vinyl version. So, I clicked a link to read about that and did so. Then I saw an article on same site purporting to list David Sylvian’s best songs across his career from Japan's debut in 1978....

Accordingly, I compiled said 20 track list into a virtual 2CD set...

Which, this morning, accompanied breakfast...

There you go...

Later, experimented with turning negatives into pictures...

It did not work...

As Anne painted, I updated the Red Books of CDs I own...

...and took the laptop to the dining room table to do some updating of this...

Then, to my mum's, stopping off at Argos on the way to secure Xmas presents for young grand nephews...

Mum was in OK form today...

...but she needs some assistance reasonably urgently as, due to her ongoing shoulder problems, can no longer reach up to switch on any lights...

That and her phone appears to be not entirely but reasonably goosed...

Home to a tasty stir fry tea from Annie..

..and, later, post dishes, coffee in the Potsdam cups from me...

At least I can make coffee...

At lunchtime, we'd finished off the final season of "Man Down"...

This evening, with a distinct lack of "Vera" recently, we turned to a new German thing called "The Nordic Murders" which was a good replacement...

"Strictly" results also watched, as JJ finally went, thank goodness...

It was close though...

That'll do for now...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's cooking again...
