Felt like a Saturday...

As ever, trying to catch up on all the stupid things my brain tells me I “have” to do...

Prepping the final release of the year, updating the diary for the last 10 days or so, ripping and listening re Xmas incoming, this week’s podcast etc...

Pleased to see that this 10 minute piece, "Overcast, Strange Day", from January 1997, almost 24 years ago, has moved in amongst more recent items in my canon and sits at No 10 in the Top 10 Cloudland Blue Quartet tracks on Bandcamp over the last 30 days...

Nice Sunday listening...

Noted to that this album, "Sospiri Orchestral Collages" was recorded 15 years ago today...

As noted in this diary entry, my mum quite liked the third piece...

Then, how can it take more than 10 minutes to load a 3:30 128kbps MP3 into my iPhone (and if I'm listening to it while adding it to the phone it's added as a separate album ffs?)...

Apple software is obviously utter shit...

OK, off to do some shopping for my mum...

I enjoyed the first of Taylor Swift's 2 LPs of 2020, while doing so...

I looked at this...

...and might at some point recreate it digitally...

I may not...

Out...

Back home for breakfast, Anne's latest painting, based on a pic from our September trip (which I MUST, MUST, finish writing up soon) is coming along nicely...

Other listening today was stuff on the phone seemingly as yet unlistened to...

...and the music for this week's final, bumper podcast of 2020...

Not out today but, "soon"...

31 excellent tracks, all into the collection post Vol 51, including various Xmas presents but excluding any from the recent Top 100 of 2020. Catch up here...

In the afternoon, two further Xmas presents arrived - purchased with Xmas cash...

I did not realise when in the basement of the Munich Gallery in September, that I'd be spending Xmas cash on books containing pics of those self same things...

Liking the work of Mr Rams...

Elsewhere today, work continued on the new CBQ comp and telly was watched, including new fave "The Umbrella Academy", a recommendation from chum Lynn...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : More presents...
