Up early, the view from the office this morning...

An early breakfast before a packed day - part of which was 45 minutes spent writing up the big red books of CDs I own...

Before...

After...

Some solo rehearsing before breaking down the set up to take required stuff out to Roslin for today's rehearsal...

The big new headphones certainly kept my ears warm...

As well as taking these pics, Stu also brought along a fantastic banana and walnut cake, baked last night to give Moira a day off - she took the opportunity to make some marmalade...

We were on reasonable form today and, instead of bashing through the full two hour set, we concentrated on 10 or  so recent additions to the repertoire...

Accordingly, 130 minutes of recordings were later able to be edited down to 47 -  a battery run out robbed us of a nice run through of "You're So Vain" - c'est la vie...

Post rehearsal, packed up and over to my mum's for a catch up...

She seems to do more in a week than I do...

Good to hear she has quite a few things lined up for the week ahead...

Then a drive to Mary's new gaffe...

Where inconsiderate parking was amply demonstrated by this inconsiderate person...

The view from Mary's new office this early evening...

Getting used to it...

A tasty Indian takeaway from round the corner sustained the smaller than usual contingent of Mary, Anne, me, Keith and Maureen...

Back home, equipment back into the house and reset up - some quick playing long to today's tapes while the ideas were fresh, then editing down to just the songs and e-mailing them over to the boys in the band...

That was it...

Reasonably packed...

Highlight of the Day : All of it really...
