Awake at 4:40, up just after 5...

Listening to more of Friday's purchases today...

A big coffee to get me started...

Out for breakfast provisions - too many eggs and the "wrong" milk were acquired, apparently...

Nonetheless a tasty breakfast, then Anne was off for more work on her mum's apartment...

I decided to set up the equipment...

Once done, I had a run through the covers set with the recordings from last week...

As I was finishing the set, a van pulled up at the back gate...

Oooh - more new headphones...

Very good but very big!

This has become the new situation in the back room...

On Anne's return, lunch, then out to my mum's...

As Anne went to the shops, I entertained my mum with my podcast, the covers band doing Elvis Presley and then, the music of  Tangerine Dream...
Her take on the Tangs?

"There’s not much tune to it, David.  It just sounds like mmmmmmmm"...

“Mysterious Semblance at the Strand of Nightmares” from their 1974 classic, "Phaedra" was deemed better than the more recent stuff...

She wondered if they had a vocalist...

I said "no"...

A Twitter follower suggested "Cyclone" - it has vocals on side one...

So this (brand new) Tangerine Dream aficionado was very surprised to hear singing, as I stuck “Cyclone” on...

Side two, without vocals, was deemed better though...

Back home and now, a run through the first half off the once proposed CBQ live set from 2017....

Maybe I could do it in 2019?

Post a tasty veggie haggis based tea, "Midsomer Murders" entertained...

Good weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Playing the old songs...
