Not having had time this week to record the podcast, up this morning around six and down to the dining room to record the links, in the hope that Anne would not be woken by my nonsense...

Mission accomplished and the show recorded and up just in time for me to leave for Helen the Podiatrist...

Turned out I had to wait in any case due to an emergency...

Done by 9:50 and into town, parked and a walk up to the Filmhouse for the Record Fair, where probably a couple too many CDs at bargain basement prices were partaken of...

Japanese nonsense...

Jazzy jazz...

French chic...

New York punk...

Polish pomp rock...

More jazzy jazz...

A surfeit of songs...

African field recordings...

Late sixties strangeness...

Tasty guitaring and drumming...

Late sixties pop/rock...

Nice violining...

Funky stuff...

10 years of MMEB, although the title reckons 20 - someone can't count...

Lovely old music...

...and again...

Some Zappa...

Some psychedelic shit...

Some shit...

And more tasty jazz guitaring...

That'll do...

Dr Prog did not buy anything...

Indeed, he received twenty odd smackers re a ticket for Tangerine Dream in Glasgow next month...

No wonder he is looking so pleased with himself...

We enjoyed a brunch at Cafe Class (I think) at Tollcross, before walking to the library, where he returned last year's Brian Eno "Music for Installations" box set - and I immediately took it out again...

"Cheerie by big man" and off down the Mound and back to the car and a drive up to the theatre for this afternoon's show...

Here Ms Lopez advises...

...no pics...

Half time...

Today, Jane was backstage, helping with quick changes, while Bob, his mum and aunt were in the audience...

All in all, probably slightly better than last night but both shows were top notch...

Everyone out to Chic's "Good Times"...

A drive over to Jane's to bring house sitter Anne home...

A very tasty curry from the Bombay Feast and watching stuff Tivo'd while I was working during this week's evenings...

Also, of course, the start of the ripping and listening...

Highlight of the Day : Kitty's dancing...
