Up not too early and some compiling of today's podcast - including tracks heard whilst snoozing before arising...

Bread and rolls brought back from the grocery store, to which Anne's mum's TV box was also delivered to be sent back - an excellent monthly saving it must be said...

Brrqkfast at home and then round to the new flat to drop Anne off and pick up my bag...

Of course I'd forgotten my bus pass so had to drive home and back again before then heading up town towards the library to hand back the Eno box set borrowed three weeks ago...

The No 31 took me into the very heart of charity shop country and these were snapped up at the various good cause emporia of stuff people no longer want...

I already have an Italian and Spanish version of this, both with the live concert DVD, so I couldn't not buy this CD only Italian version for £1.99 from the BHF - yes I am an idiot...

Sadly, these are more recent recordings of Mr Zamfir, also from BHF for a quid, so I still need to rely on the scratchy rip from Youtube to hear the original "Light of Experience"...

In Oxfam, this tasty jazz platter for half price at £1.50...

Possibly the first appearance on record of King Crimson bassist and general all round cool dude, Tony Levin...

In the Cancer Research shop, this early release from Coheed and Cambria was also £1.50...

...while a hitherto unknown about Blue Note compilation (fro Canada) was on the shelves in Age Concern for one of your English pounds...

At Capability another pound shelled out for this 1972 release from Fairport Convention's Sandy Denny...

Then to the library, via Blackwells - which has a very nice but expensive music department, at which, it must be said, I am occasionally tempted but not today...

A wander along Chamber Street...

...to the library - Eno handed back, nothing else borrowed...

Up at Greyfriars, the last purchase of the day, at the Salvation Army shop for a measly 50p - an LP from 5 years ago now by Out of the Bedroom colleague and birthday sharing musical chum Iona Marshall...

Here with brand new box applied...

Two buses home and an afternoon of podcasting, ripping, listening, "Father Brown" and "Midsomer Murders" and then, "helping" the Exec Producer make the very tasty indeed tea...

Whist we cooked, I found a channel previously not known about, showing ice hockey...

The view from the office this evening...

Yumtastic...

Late on, a "Big Bang" and a "Taskmaster", the latter fallen asleep to, hopelessly, re getting up so early.

It was ever thus...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's burgers...
