Today, assistance from her children to a lady making a move...

...as Anne's mum went from what had been her home since the early 60's to a new apartment a couple of miles (if that) away...

Anne, Jane, Bobby and Maureen had been helping, Bob had gone back home for kids and dog and Keith and I arrived...

Fizzy drink was drunk, fish and chips were eaten and a lovely cake, baked as a welcome by Jane's friend, the daughter of the previous owner, was much enjoyed...

The beginning of a new era...

At lunchtime, I'd bought this but, on leaving, I accidentally left my bag behind...

Back home though, these 3 awaited from e-bay...

Made an attempt at putting together content for this week's podcast but I was too tired really...

Ended the evening struggling to stay awake while watching nephew Craig's BBC Scotland footie show "The View from the Terrace", now in its third week of ten (and hoping against hope for a recommission)...

Quite entertaining...

The four main participants spend a lot of time talking about the smaller teams in Scotland - which, while making it better for many footie fans in Scotchland, may well alienate the supports of the Glasgow Celtic and Scotland's newest club, who really only want to hear about their own teams and whose followings are huge...

Hence, "normal" footie programmes on the telly dwell annoyingly on every crumb of crap that those two clubs produce...

And so this refreshing programme is walking a precarious tightrope between being different and actually having anyone tune in...

Which is more of an indictment of Scottish football than the programme making...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Successful house move...
