Up around seven to post the podcast...

Outside, snowing...

Ok that was a pretty useless attempt at picturing the weather..

To work on yesterday's acquisitions, re ripping and listening...

..and de-price stickering...

Throughout the day, in all, seven of the new purchases were listened to...

A total of 8.5 hours of music...

The snow continued, to a point where it was able to be pictured...

Breakfast, then taking Anne out for legwork, new flat shopping etc etc....

I made my way to the post depot to pick something up...

Yet another set of headphones from RHA - they just keep breaking down but I have a three year warranty...

These are my fifth pair (so far) and I still have 18 months on the warranty...

They do sound good though...

In the evening, an Indian takeaway accompanied episode 2 of "Deutschland '86" - we're finding it hard to follow as we can't really remember everything that happened in, or minor characters from, "Deutschland '83" - also annoying that so much of it is not set in, erm, Deutschland...

Later, the second part of a documentary we watched earlier in the week on Parkinson's Disease and a study on a new drug, which involved volunteers having ground breaking brain surgery to allow the drug being tested (or a placebo) to be delivered directly to the centre of their brains...

It's currently available on iPlayer... (till 10 April 2019)...

Spoiler alert though re the outcome...

Those who were given the placebo for the first nine months, were given the drug for the second nine - and onward - as it would have been ethically questionable to have them have such intrusive surgery just to have distilled water added to their brains...

Such bravery, such heartbreaking stories...

And, in the end, the study failed to produce the results required for the drug, which so obviously worked, to be taken forward...

Blessings being counted...

Lights out...

Highlight of the day : Busy doing nothing...
