Home...

...to find someone moaning on the Fleecebook that Alice Cooper's live sets are always the same and 70's dominated...

So, yes, 70's centric but only to be expected as that was his heyday - and there's still loads of tracks from those 70's albums I'd love to hear him play live...

All the setlists throughout his career are meticulously listed on the Sick Things website - I'm sure he's played other songs in the last 10 years that didn't feature on the 4 live LPs or the recent "Sound of A" EP...

His set is almost always a high energy thrill a minute 80-90 minutes - he's never going to do 3 hours, or even 2 - he's over 70 years old - "Halo of Flies", which was complained about(!!) is in the set to allow for costume changes and a bit of a rest - the theatrics are very much part of the show...

A "few" of songs I'd love to hear live are (in chronological order):-
60's/70's
Fields of Regret
Return of the Spiders
Caught in a Dream
Long Way to Go (I think he's played that recently)
Dead Babies (saw that in 87)
You Drive Me Nervous
Luney Tune
Gutter Cat
My Stars
Unfinished Sweet
Generation Landslide
Hello Hooray (the full version)
Big Apple Dreamin'
Never Been Sold Before
Hard Hearted Alice
Teenage Lament '74
Steven
Wake Me Gently
Wish You Were Here
It's Hot Tonight
Road Rats
My God
The Quiet Room
80s
Make That Money
Former Lee Warmer
Life and Death of the Party
Crawlin'
Lock Me Up
Prince of Darkness
Chop Chop Chop
Roses on White Lace (Nita Strauss is pushing for this one)
Bed of Nails
90s
Dangerous Tonight
Might as Well Be on Mars
Wind Up Toy (saw that in 91)
Bad Place Alone
00's
Blow Me a Kiss
Gimme
Fantasy Man
Detroit City
You Make Me Wanna
Sunset Babies
10s
I Am Made of You
When Hell Comes Home (would be good to see that played by the original band)
What Baby Wants (with Ke$ha guesting live...)
Paranormal
Dead Flies
Fallen in Love
Holy Water

So that's "only" 49 songs!

Makes a nice new playlist...

On telly, late on, "Holby City"...

Today's artwork, "At the Top of the Hill"...

Highlight of the Day : Cooper research and listening...
